About the Artist
Hi my name is Jeeya Kapoor and welcome to my website. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am 12 years old and going into grade 7 and I love to paint. When I am not painting I like to skate. I skate competitively and I am on the ice practicing 6 times a week. My other interests include travelling and I love school.
A couple of years ago my Nanu (grandfather) suggested that I use my art to help others. During Covid I started painting a lot more. I started to paint with a local artist, Priti Mistry during her private events and I also had private art classes. I painted quite a few paintings during this time and I thought if I sold them and donated the money to Aim for Seva I could help other children.
What is Aim for Seva?
I am sure you are wondering, "What is Aim for Seva?" It is a charity that helps make education possible for children who live in the rural areas of India. This charity appealed to me because of my love for education. Education was also very important to my Nanu. Through my donation I hope I can help other children receive an education, and help them achieve their goals.
